  General education subjects are general education subjects that all students study, regardless of faculty or department. The first thing students take after enrolling is mainly general education subjects.
  You can choose from a variety of classes, including lecture subjects in a variety of fields such as the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as practical subjects such as language and physical education.

  In Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Design Technology, we offer specialized basic subjects in natural science fields such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry as a prelude to applied specialized education. For these subjects, we organize classes based on proficiency based on placement tests conducted at the time of admission, and provide detailed lessons.

• Osaka Sangyo University and Society

  Students studying at Osaka Sangyo University need to deeply understand the origins, educational policies, and founding spirit of the university they study at. By understanding the meaning of founder Genzaburo Sejima's founding spirit of ``great ordinary people,'' students will have the opportunity to solidify their futures.

• The Constitution of Japan

  The content is different from memorizing the contents of the Constitution, and from the ``political economy'' and ``modern society'' taught up to high school. What is the Self-Defense Forces? What is freedom of expression? This lecture will teach you how to think about social issues in light of the Constitution, and if you take an interest in newspapers and news on a regular basis, you will learn two or three times more.

  We will focus on the three elements essential for a healthy life: exercise, nutrition, and sleep. For example, measure your heart rate while jogging. Record your meals and count calories. Evaluate your sleep time using a questionnaire... We will explore "health" scientifically while actually moving our bodies through games such as tennis and basketball.

• Japanese composition

  The goal is to acquire the writing skills necessary for university classes. Therefore, we will learn the basic rules of writing sentences and sentence structure, and mainly practice writing sentences using written words. First, aim to write a basic report, and then aim to express your thoughts logically.
