Thanks to the job-hunting seminar, I was able to dispel my anxieties about job hunting.
During my job hunting, I was very anxious because everything was unknown to me, including finding a company, the selection process, and how to prepare for the selection process. I was able to resolve this anxiety thanks to the job hunting Career Center on a Saturday during summer vacation. In this seminar, I was taught all the know-how of job hunting, and I was able to prepare my resume early and have it corrected, so I was able to start the selection process early. Without this job hunting seminar, I would not have known what to do in my job hunting at all. I also received individual consultations at Career Center. Because it was individual, I was able to talk in detail about the things I didn't understand and my concerns, and I received accurate advice. What I was careful about during my job hunting was my own reaction at the company information session. Due to the recent infectious disease epidemic, it was online, so I thought that reactions were important, so I was careful to smile, nod, and listen to what the other person was saying. As a result of being careful about this, I was able to enter a special selection frame that allowed me to skip some selection steps. When I was looking for a job, I focused on whether I could grow as a person. After I received a job offer from Kusuri no Aoki, I sent an email with my questions about the company, and I received a reply within a day. At that time, I felt that the quick response meant that they were paying attention to students, and I felt that I could work with peace of mind at this company. I think that my juniors will also have a hard time because they may stumble and not understand each step of the job-hunting process, but I want them to keep going until they are satisfied with their situation.

In addition to studying on my own, I was able to open up my future by utilizing the services of a job hunting professional.
I was thinking of working in the IT industry, but I had almost no programming knowledge or skills, so I was worried about whether I would be able to handle the job hunting process well. Therefore, I made the most of the university library, borrowed and read technical books, and studied on my own. I also went to Career Center to get advice on how to write an application form. At that time, instead of just being told to "fix this," I was instructed to think about the sentences myself, which helped me improve my writing skills. During my job hunting, I not only improved my skills in this way, but also tried to always think from the perspective of the company that was hiring. I feel that this made it clear to me what I needed to do, which led to me receiving a job offer from the company I wanted. I hope that my juniors will take action without being afraid of failure and get through the job hunting process.

Relying on Career Center was the best way to prepare for my job search.
When I first started job hunting, I was not confident that I could write my reasons for wanting to work and my self-promotion within the character limit, and I felt anxious. So I consulted with my supervisor, Professor Masashi Ogawa, and decided to attend Career Center. I also participated in mock interviews. He taught me trends and countermeasures, such as detailed guidance on how to answer based on the recent question trends of the companies I was applying to. Thanks to this support, I was able to approach my job hunting with confidence. Looking back now, I think the biggest factor was that I consulted with Professor Ogawa many times and used Career Center. To have a meaningful job hunt, if there is something you do not understand, it is important to act until you understand it. Relying on others is also an option. Do not get discouraged and do your best until the end.

Job hunting is a place to face yourself. Keep that in mind as you proceed until the very end.
During my job hunting, I did a thorough self-analysis and researched companies from various angles, so that I would be able to answer any questions I was asked. In addition to these efforts, I also made full use of Career Center actively receiving support for resume corrections and mock interviews. What particularly impressed me was that the staff member in charge kindly gave me advice, such as researching the companies I wanted to work for, together with me, and I was able to prepare well for the actual employment exam. My employer is a company that is expanding its business with an eye on the global market. I joined the company because I thought I could put what I learned at university to good use. With an international perspective, I want to contribute to the health of people all over the world. Job hunting is a place where you can reflect on yourself and grow, so face yourself and do your best until the end without giving up.

Use affordable information centres whenever possible
I want you to understand the importance of information sources. Especially for international students, there is less information on small and medium-sized enterprises than for Japanese students, so if you only focus on large companies, you are likely to miss the chance to apply to a good small or medium-sized enterprise. The school's Career Center has a lot of company information and may be able to introduce you to good jobs. Above all, you can attend at your own pace, so it is very helpful to make a reservation in advance to have your resume corrected or practice for an interview. It is also necessary to gather information at government agencies such as Hello Work and the Foreign Employment Service Center. Time management is also important. The opening day for new graduate recruitment is March 1st of the third year, so it is better to start preparing for employment by then. From March to June, large companies are the main focus, and from June, large companies have almost finished recruiting and small and medium-sized enterprises become active in recruiting. Preparations change depending on the season. Be especially careful to gather information on companies you are interested in and do not fall behind on the company's schedule.
